Vladimir Basel was born from a simple idea: to sew clothes that serve women well in everyday life. Not only in photos, but especially at home, at work, on a walk with the children or while hanging out with friends.
We weren't created to follow trends. We were created to ensure that clothes bring peace, comfort, and joy of wearing.
How it all began
The Vladimir Basel brand is not about a grand plan or a quick business idea. It is about doing things honestly and with respect for the people who wear the clothes. We have been creating in Ostrava since the beginning. In an environment we know. With people we know. Thanks to this, we are close not only to production, but also to the women for whom the clothes are created.
Personal approach without compromise
We care about the clothes really fitting you. Every body type is different and ready-made clothes are not always the ideal solution.
If a piece doesn't fit you the way you'd like, you can arrange for an adjustment right here in our workshop. We can re-stitch or adjust the clothing so that it fits you and you feel comfortable in it.
A personal approach is not an exception for us, but part of how we work.
Honest production in Ostrava
Each piece is made locally, by hand, with attention to detail. This means we know what materials we use, how the clothing is made, and how it will behave when worn and washed.
Local production is not a marketing buzzword for us. It is a way to remain fair to people, to work, and to customers.
